Social Media Terms of Use

Introduction

These terms of use shall apply to all users of the official accounts (hereinafter referred to as "Users") operated by The Dai-ichi Life Techno Cross Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") and associated services (hereinafter referred to as the "Services"). In addition to these Terms and Conditions, the Services are also subject to various rules and regulations stipulated by each Social Media Operator. Please check the terms of use, privacy policy, etc. of each Social Media Operator beforehand and use the Services after obtaining sufficient information and setting appropriate privacy and other settings.

Prohibited acts:

The following actions (hereinafter, individually or collectively referred to as "prohibited actions") are prohibited on the Services :

  Making comments that are not directly related to the information provided by our company on the Services.

  Any other acts that our company reasonably deems inappropriate on the Services.

Measures against prohibited acts:

Regardless of whether or not a user is intentionally or negligently involved, if the Company determines that a user has engaged in any of the prohibited acts set out in these Terms of Use or other inappropriate acts, or is at risk of engaging in such acts, the Company reserves the right to take the following measures without prior notice:

  Delete comments, photos, audio, images, videos, etc. posted to the Services.

  Refuse to allow the user to use the Services.

  Warn or advise the user using the comment or message function on social media and announce that measures 1 or 2 above have been taken.

Dissemination, Response to Replies, etc.:

• The Company will post information and content to the Services as it deems appropriate and at a frequency that the Company deems appropriate. We reserve the right to change or delete any information or content that we have already posted at any time.
• We will post to the wall of users and send messages to users in accordance with the terms of use and specifications of each social media operator.
• Even if a user's conduct does not fall under any of the prohibited items, if we reasonably determine that a user's posting on the Services is inappropriate in relation to its content or the purpose of the Services, we may delete such posting.
• The Company may respond to any posting to the Services by a user at its discretion.

Copyrights:

All copyrights to the works posted on the Services and submitted by our company belong to our company. Please refrain from reprinting without permission or other acts of copyright infringement.

Handling of user information:

By using the Services, you are deemed to have agreed to these terms and conditions, and the Company may access information that users have made public (such as the user's publicly-disclosed name, profile photo, gender, user ID, and friend list) from the Services. The Company may change these Terms of Use without prior notice to users. In such cases, the changed Terms of Use will come into effect from the time they are displayed on the Services.
